As you can probably guess my name is Corey Reece. I live in Carrboro, NC now but I have lived all over the United States. I am really energized by new ideas. Areas that I have interest in range from languages to geography to voting systems. Something I really believe in is the power of cheap information exchange (the internet) to change our world. I welcome the breaking down of walled gardens and defenestration of the gatekeepers.

My primary job skill is computer programming, specifically in building web applications.

You might be wondering what taltàl mahàitha means. It means ‘elder daldal’. It comes from a native american myth in the Takelma Language. I chose it because I have fond memories of the Rogue River and the symbolism in the myth about going up river to figure things out and doing good deeds along the way appeals to me. I also have a younger brother who is the ‘younger daldal’.
